Conditions of Challenge 
1. Challenge 

Up to 2 Neuron e-scooters bearing a limited edition Neuron Golden Helmet will be found in each Participating City. The first 3 riders each day to find a Golden Helmet e-scooter and take a valid trip on that scooter will receive a trip voucher (the ‘Challenge’).

The trip voucher is $5 in each Participating City’s local currency (and £3 for the United Kingdom) (the “Voucher”).
2. Challenge Period 

Start date: 21 September 2024, 12am local time in the Participating City

End date: 27 September 2024, 12am local time in the Participating City
3. Participating Cities In Australia (Adelaide, Ballarat, Bundaberg, Busselton, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, Rockhampton, Townsville, Wollongong, Yeppoon), Canada (Airdrie, Blackfalds, Brampton, Calgary, Coquitlam, Edmonton, Lacombe, Ottawa, Oshawa, Regina, Red Deer, Region of Waterloo, Saskatoon, St. Albert, Sylvan Lake, Vernon), New Zealand (Christchurch) and in the United Kingdom (Newcastle).
4. Challenge Conditions
  1. Riders must have a valid account on the Neuron App to participate in  the Golden Helmet Challenge. 
  2. A valid trip is taken on a Neuron e-scooter with a golden helmet.
  3. At the end of the trip, the Golden Helmet must be returned to the e-scooter. 
  4. The rider is one of the first 3 unique riders of the day on the Golden Helmet scooter.
  5. Riders may only receive one Voucher for the entire Challenge Period.
  6. For Group Rides, the account holder will be considered the participating rider.
5. Rider Notification  Riders receiving the Voucher will be notified by Neuron via email by 4 October 2024. Vouchers will be automatically added to the rider’s Neuron App account and applied to the next valid trip.
6. Voucher Validity Each Voucher is for one-time use only. It will be valid for a period of 3 months from the date of Rider Notification.

 

 

Terms of Challenge

  1. Entry to the Golden Helmet Challenge is voluntary and, by fulfilling the Challenge Conditions above, riders accept these terms and conditions. By participating in this Challenge, riders must be compliant with Neuron’s Rider Rules and Terms of Service at all times.

  2. The first 3 unique riders of the day are determined by the trip start time.

  3. If less than three valid trips are taken on a Golden Helmet e-scooter on any particular day, any remaining Voucher for that particular day will be forfeited. No Voucher will be carried over to the next day. 

  4. Neuron reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of accounts and riders (including rider’s identity and details) and to disqualify any rider who enters the Challenge not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with any part of the Challenge. Failure by Neuron to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. 

  5. The  Voucher is applicable only to single Pay Per Ride trips. Vouchers are one-time use only, not interchangeable and cannot be exchanged for cash. They are not valid in conjunction with any other promotional codes or discounts. 

  6. The Voucher is subject to availability and/or changes at Neuron’s absolute discretion. 

  7. Neuron will not be liable to any rider for any cancellation, changes or unavailability of the Voucher. 

  8. Neuron may allocate a Voucher to additional riders in a situation where a rider account or trip is deemed invalid. 

  9. Neuron reserves the right to revise the Challenge Period dates and any other details of the Challenge, including these Terms, at its absolute discretion. Neuron has no obligation to inform riders of any changes to the Challenge or these Terms.

  10. If the Challenge is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated by Neuron, because of any reason beyond Neuron’s reasonable control, Neuron reserves the right to the fullest extent permitted by law, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate in its discretion. 

  11. Each Golden Helmet is tagged to a specific e-scooter ID. If any Golden Helmet is returned to the wrong e-scooter or misplaced, it will be replaced by a white Neuron helmet. Riders on e-scooters tagged to a Golden Helmet will be taken as participating in the Challenge even if the Golden Helmet has been replaced. All terms and conditions of the Challenge will continue to apply. 

  12. All times specified in the Challenge are local times in the Participating Cities.

  13. As permitted by law, Neuron (including our respective officers, employees and agents) will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) by any person in connection with this Challenge or using a trip voucher.

  14. All Directors, officers, management and employees (and immediate family) of Neuron are ineligible to participate in the Challenge.

  15. Neuron uses and handles personal information gathered from this Challenge as set out in its Privacy Policy available upon request and via https://www.rideneuron.com/privacy-policy-international/ .
