Neuron’s ‘Refer a Rider Challenge’

  1. Neuron Mobility (Canada) Limited (“Neuron”) offers users in Edmonton, AB the opportunity to participate in a special Refer a Rider Challenge (“Offer”) for a chance to win a Referral Bonus of a $100 CDN Starbucks’ Gift Card (“Bonus”).

  2. The Offer is valid during the following three promotional periods (“Promotional Periods”):

  1. A user can only win one Bonus per Promotional Period.
  2. How it works:

    1. To refer a rider, head to the "Refer A Friend" section of the Neuron app to get your unique referral code. Share this code with potential new riders. Ensure the referred rider completes their first trip within the applicable Promotional Period for the referral to count as an entry for the Bonus;
    2. Each referral during the applicable Promotional Period equals 1 entry for the Bonus;
    3. There is no limit on the number of referrals a user can make during the Promotional Period;

    4. To count as an entry, the referred rider must start a trip during the applicable Promotional Period; and
    5. At the end of each Promotional Period, Neuron will identify the top referring riders (weekly allocation in table above) and award them a Bonus of a $100 Starbucks’ Gift Card. In order to qualify for the Bonus, the rider must have made at least two successful referrals. The Bonus is based on participation levels, the winner answering a skill testing question and is not a game of chance.

  3. How to Claim a Bonus:
    1. In the event of a tie, where multiple referrers have the same number of referrals for a Promotional Period, Neuron will randomly select the winners from these referrers to determine the winner for that Promotional Period;
    2. Winners will be notified within 3 business days of the end of the Promotional Period; and
    3. To claim the Bonus, winners must respond to the notification email within 2 business days, providing their full name, email, phone number and correctly answering a skill testing question. Failure to respond within 2 business days will result in forfeiture of the Bonus.
  4. The Offer is limited to users in Canada who:
    1. Are located in Edmonton, AB;

    2. Have signed-up for Neuron within the applicable period as set out in the table above;
    3. Received direct communication about the campaign from Neuron during the applicable period; and

    4. Are over the age of 18.
  5. Except for Neuron’s Standard Referral Rewards, the Offer cannot be combined or used in conjunction with any other discount or promotion. Neuron's Standard Referral Rewards apply to all users at all times, including during this campaign and can be viewed here: FAQs.
  6. Neuron reserves the right to amend or cancel the Offer or Promotional Periods at any time.
  7. Neuron is in no way affiliated with Starbucks and is not responsible for the availability, quality, or any issues related to Starbucks.
  8. No purchase is necessary to participate in the Offer or to win the Bonus. Chances of winning are dependent on the number of participants and your ability to enter a skill testing question. 

  9. The Offer is not transferable, refundable as cash, credit or at all.
